Answers start with the right questions — and the right tests.

Standard bloodwork gives you a snapshot of disease absence. Vyta's diagnostics give you a complete picture of your health — the kind that makes personalized care actually possible.

Why Standard Testing Falls Short

What standard bloodwork misses

These are the five most common limitations we see when women come to Vyta after being told everything is "fine."

"Your labs are normal."

Standard reference ranges are population averages — not optimal targets. A result "within range" can still be suboptimal for how you function. We interpret your labs in context, not just against a population reference.

No VO2 Max testing

VO2 Max is the single most powerful predictor of all-cause mortality — stronger than smoking, blood pressure, or diabetes status. Yet it is almost never tested in standard care.

No body composition analysis

Weight is a blunt instrument. InBody scanning measures muscle mass, fat distribution, segmental balance, and hydration — the data that actually predicts metabolic health and functional longevity.

Missing cardiovascular markers

Standard lipid panels miss Lp(a), ApoB, and hsCRP — markers now recognized as among the most clinically significant for cardiovascular risk, especially in postmenopausal women.

Hormone panels that miss the picture

A single estradiol or FSH measurement on a fluctuating day tells you very little. We test a comprehensive hormonal panel and interpret it alongside your symptom history and clinical picture.

Our Diagnostic Battery

What Vyta tests — and why

Every test we run has a reason. Every result feeds your care plan.

Functional Fitness

VO2 Max Assessment

The strongest single predictor of long-term health and all-cause mortality. Measured via a submaximal or maximal protocol, your VO2 Max reveals your cardiorespiratory fitness level and establishes a baseline for improvement.

A low VO2 Max at 50 is associated with a risk profile comparable to heavy smoking. A 10% improvement can meaningfully reduce all-cause mortality risk.

Body Composition

InBody Composition Analysis

A medical-grade body composition scan that goes far beyond weight or BMI — measuring lean muscle mass, body fat percentage, visceral fat levels, segmental muscle balance, and hydration status.

Muscle mass is a longevity biomarker. Visceral fat is an independent cardiovascular risk factor. InBody gives us the data to track these meaningfully over time.

Hormonal Health

Comprehensive Hormone Panel

A full hormonal evaluation including estradiol, progesterone, testosterone (total and free), DHEA-S, FSH, LH, cortisol (morning), and thyroid panel (TSH, free T3, free T4) — tested together, not piecemeal.

Hormones interact. Interpreting them in isolation is like reading every other sentence — you miss the meaning. Full context is essential for personalized care.

Heart Health

Advanced Cardiovascular Panel

Beyond standard lipids: Lp(a), ApoB, hsCRP, homocysteine, fasting insulin, and NMR lipid particle size — the markers that actually predict cardiovascular events in women.

Cardiovascular disease overtakes breast cancer as the leading cause of death in postmenopausal women. Standard panels miss many of the most significant risk markers.

Metabolic Health

Metabolic & Inflammatory Markers

Fasting glucose, fasting insulin, HbA1c, HOMA-IR (insulin resistance index), triglycerides, uric acid, ALT, GGT, and full CBC — assessed together as a metabolic health picture.

Insulin resistance is one of the most underdiagnosed conditions in midlife women. A fasting glucose that looks "normal" can coexist with significant insulin dysregulation.

Nutrition

Nutritional & Micronutrient Status

Vitamin D (25-OH), B12, folate, magnesium (RBC), ferritin, zinc, and omega-3 index — nutritional markers that directly affect energy, mood, bone density, and hormonal function.

Deficiencies in these specific nutrients are common in midlife women — and they contribute meaningfully to fatigue, mood, bone loss, and cognitive symptoms.

From Data to Care

How we turn results into a plan

Testing is only useful if someone interprets it thoughtfully. Your physician reviews every result in context — not just against a reference range.

01

Receive and review

Your physician reviews all results in context — not as isolated numbers, but as an integrated picture of your biology at this point in time.

02

Identify priorities

We identify which findings are most clinically significant for your goals and current symptoms — and what to address first, second, and over time.

03

Build your care plan

Your diagnostics directly inform your hormone protocol, nutrition strategy, lifestyle prescriptions, and any advanced therapies — creating a plan that actually fits your body.

04

Track change over time

Labs are a time-stamped snapshot. We repeat key markers at appropriate intervals to measure whether our interventions are working and adjust as needed.

You never receive results in isolation. Every Vyta diagnostic result is reviewed by your physician and communicated with clinical context, not just numbers in a portal. You understand what each finding means — and what we plan to do about it.
